Hey! We're hiring a full stack developer to build bucketlistt.com and OkGhumo with our CTO.

What we're building

bucketlistt.com is a curated marketplace for travel and adventure experiences, starting from Rishikesh and expanding city by city. Alongside it we run OkGhumo, the operating system adventure operators use to run their business. Think of what Zomato and Petpooja did for the food industry, or what BookMyShow did for movies, built ground up for adventure experiences in India.

Why this role, why now

Every booking on bucketlistt.com and every slot on OkGhumo runs on code our small tech team writes. You'll work directly with Divyam Shah, our CTO, and what you build ships to users within days.

Live in 3 cities, with more than Rs. 20 crores of bookings managed in the last 9 months by a very lean team

Curious enough to ask why a customer dropped off at checkout, then go fix it

What you'll do

Build customer booking flows on bucketlistt.com: discovery, slots, cart, checkout and payments
Build vendor modules in OkGhumo: inventory, time slots, bookings, ticketing, payouts and reports
Keep live inventory in sync between OkGhumo and bucketlistt.com
Integrate payment gateways, WhatsApp, ONDC and AI tools
Write clean, tested code, review peers' work and fix production issues fast

Requirements

Something live you built that real users use OR
A strong stint at a startup shipping production code AND
2 to 4 years of experience
Strong in JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, React or Next.js, and SQL or NoSQL databases
Experience with REST APIs and payment integrations
Comfort using AI coding tools, with the judgment to check what they produce

We're a startup, so you'll step out of your comfort zone and do things you've never done before, like:
- Calling customers
- Talking to vendors
- Onboarding new vendors
- Resolving their issues
Most of the time you'll be doing the work in your job profile, but you'll also handle tasks from other key areas when they need urgent attention

Location and terms

Rishikesh, on-site, full time, 6 days a week (9 am to 6 pm, one weekday off). 2-month probation and 2-month notice period. Stay provided in Rishikesh with the core team.
