What we're building

bucketlistt.com is a curated marketplace for travel and adventure experiences, starting from Rishikesh and expanding city by city. Alongside it we run OkGhumo, the operating system adventure operators use to run their business. Think of what Zomato and Petpooja did for the food industry, or what BookMyShow did for movies, built ground up for adventure experiences in India.

Why this role, why now

Calls are our most important channel. In this business trust is the product, and a missed or badly handled call is a lost booking or a refund.

Founders: Shubham Makhecha, CEO (CA, AIR 36, ex-PwC, ex-Accenture), Nitant Desai, CFO/COO (CA, ex-PwC), and Divyam Shah, CTO (techie, ex-Prepseed)

Live in 3 cities, with more than Rs. 20 crores of bookings managed in the last 9 months by a very lean team

Who we're looking for

Not an a**hole. Arrogance is a deal breaker
Warm, patient and calm, even with an upset customer
You read people: what the customer really wants, what worries them, and what will help them decide
Good at negotiation without being pushy
Fits our values: Stupid (ask the obvious questions), Curious, Childish (have fun doing it)

What you'll do

Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp chats and emails every day
Help travellers pick the right experience and convert leads into confirmed bookings
Confirm slots with operators, share booking details, and handle changes, cancellations and refunds
Follow up after the experience for feedback and reviews
Log every lead and interaction in our CRM, and flag recurring issues

Requirements

0 to 2 years in calling, customer support or sales (freshers with great communication are welcome)
Clear spoken Hindi and English; Gujarati or another regional language is a plus
Comfort with CRM and telecalling tools, WhatsApp Business, basic Excel, and AI tools for calls

You read from a script and hang up
You get rattled when a customer is angry

Most of the time you'll be doing the work in your job profile, but you'll also handle tasks from other key areas when they need urgent attention

Location and terms

Rishikesh, on-site, full time, 6 days a week (9 am to 6 pm, one weekday off; shifts may vary in peak season). 2-month probation and 2-month notice period.
