Here’s a quick look at the Maa Ganga Bungy experience before you decide which package works best for you.
How Maa Ganga Bungy Started in Devprayag?
A few months back, India got a new 219-metre bungy jumping experience in Devprayag. That is almost like jumping from the height of a 60-storey building. Just imagine standing there and looking down before you jump. You can feel the height even before the jump begins. Maa Ganga Bungy was launched by the owners of Splash Bungy in Rishikesh. They already have a 109-metre bungy and pioneered shower bungy and rooftop bungy in India.
Maa Ganga Bungy started in March 2026 and quickly became popular online. The launch reel became especially famous and crossed 30 million views. You can watch the reel here. For me, the idea of jumping 219 metres into a valley is enough to put this experience on any adventure bucket list.

If you want to see the jump for yourself, here’s the Maa Ganga Bungy Reel, I captured during the experience.
My Maa Ganga Bungy Experience
The price looks simple on paper. The experience feels very different when you are standing at the jump point.
I reached the site after travelling from Rishikesh towards Devprayag. The changing mountain views made the journey part of the experience.
After reaching, I completed the registration and signed the required waiver. The team then checked my weight before the jump.
The safety briefing was the part I paid close attention to. The instructors explained the equipment and the jumping process clearly.
Climbing Up to the Jump Platform
Then came the tower climb. There is no lift at the site as of now. You have to climb around five to six floors using the steps.
The platform is level with the road. From there, you jump deep into the valley towards the river below.
With every step, the height became more noticeable. By the time, I reached the platform, I couldn't ignore the drop below.
That moment before jumping was easily my favourite part. You get a few seconds to take everything in before making the final jump.
The actual free fall was over quickly. The rush, however, stayed with me much longer.
What Happens After the Jump?
Since the area underneath is the river, you are pulled back onto the platform after the jump. There is no landing platform below.
The return journey is not completely over after the jump. You still have to trek a little after coming back.
The lift is expected to become operational in the next six to seven months. The team has also tested a Giant Swing.
The Giant Swing is expected to become operational within the next six to seven months as well.
This video gives you a better idea of what the jump actually feels like from the platform to the free fall.
If you are comparing Maa Ganga Bungy Charges, I would also consider the experience you get for the price. For me, having the jump recorded made the ₹6,000 package more appealing.

Is Maa Ganga Bungy Worth the Cost?
Whether the Maa Ganga Bungy Charges feel worth it depends on what you want from the experience.
At ₹5,000, the basic jump is the better choice if you only want the adrenaline rush. You can avoid paying extra for video.
I would choose the ₹6,000 package if you want to keep a recording of the jump. The full-length video makes the experience easier to relive later.
The ₹7,000 rooftop option is worth considering if you want something different from the standard jump.
For me, the experience matters more than simply comparing the Maa Ganga Bungee charges. You are paying for the jump, safety setup and the overall adventure.
I have tried bungee jumping in Rishikesh as well, so I know how different each jump can feel. If you are comparing options, check Bungee Jumping in Rishikesh before deciding.
If bungee jumping is already on your Rishikesh itinerary, Maa Ganga Bungy can be worth the spend.
